Electronic/IDM music = Classical music
Rememeber – electronic music is not only dance music. Dance music is just a one part of electronic music.
Similarities between electronic and classical music:
I’m very familiar with classical music for many years, so I know what I’m sayin’
Maybe after about thousand years (when on Earth will be Bender and his friends) people will go to opera or large concert hall to listen electronic or IDM music like they are going now to listen classical music
One of those classical music artists could be Lusine.
Lusine – A Certain Distance
On September 8th there was released new album “A Certain Distance” from Lusine (Jeff McIlwain). He’s one of my favorite electronic/IDM artists from Ghostly International. I really admire all records from Lusine and I think he can get out the most advanced/balanced sound from Ableton Live.
So, today I bought “A Certain Distance” from Ghostly store in digital format for about 9$. Listened on my 5.1 surround sound system. Mastering and producing of sound is pretty amazing. In few words about my impresions:

P.S. Sorry about my english. I’m not a geek specialist in languages, but I found to write in english helpfull (not in local language – latvian) because of significant blog traffic from worldwide.

I found workaround how to integrate Flickr (and also other flash content) into wordpress community blog. You can do it using Vodpod.

I’m not specialist in marketing or buzz making – mostly I work with graphic design, webdesign, animations in advertisement industry, but I have thinking a lot – do we really know the true about things happening around us? We just turn on the TV, open internet pages – there we get some information, some opinions, some facts (or rumors?) and thats it. Now we are informed about everything. It’s so simple you say – I have internet – I know everything. Well, it’s wrong.
The main problem of present days – “speed is everything”. I got lot of ASAPs in mailbox every week. So, information and news must be delivered as soon as posible, too. As faster you do some work, as worst the quality of result. It’s a fact. As faster media delivers news to people, as more wrong information there is. That’s why last days in Latvia were lot of different failures. Probably the greatest FAIL was information transformation about meteorite in news (it was a fake – a part of advertisement campaign). There was so much news based on rumors not facts – the only media goal was to deliver this news as soon as posible and get the ratings on top. But how about us – usual people? Why we are so manipulated?
I always try to keep my opinion based on facts what I have seen of my self. So, I decided to create a little experiment to see, how it works – how to create buzz; how the rumors transforms in facts; can be conspiracy theories for real?
How?
There was local happening going on 27th October – some man was climbing on support of Shroud Bridge in Riga. Big buzz was going on in twitter. So, I decided to post some experimental rumor tweet – I created fake picture from the music video of Disfunk (some of my old music project – now transformed in Moana) and post it in twitter with text that I got this message in mobile phone from somebody. In picture there was actual sight of today (fake) Riga from the top of Shroud Bridge. See the example:

The wrong information began to circulate. It also transformed for it self. For now I did nothing – just watching. In result image was send to news portals and they put it in web like it is fact – with no verify! FAIL. It also circulated in portal comments and information transformed so much that there were opinions – I’m the man who climbed on the bridge.

Results?
Numbers in about 3 hours (maybe not so great results, but this was just a small experiment):
Conclusion?
Don’t be fool – don’t believe everything what you read or hear with no facts. We are living in very deformed information world.

Now you can listen first two parts of my upcoming mix here. More details later…

Sometimes I feel so tired about all this SEO buzz going on… So, one day I and my colegue @normaals got an idea. If you want to deliver message to some Wordpress blog owner (and he or she is big SEO geek and so on…), you can do this, using Google. There is how:
1) Open Google;
2) Type in search field: www.addressofblog.com OR “Your message here…” and press search (remember – “OR” is case sensitive and message can be max 26 symbols);
3) Normally the blog will apear as first search result, so click on it;
4) You are done! Message will appear in blog stats (search engine terms) and the blog owner can read it.
P.S. Tested on Wordpress, but I think it will work on any statistics service (like Google Analytics). So, don’t mess with spam OR… ![]()

I really admire this freak/vintage/old paper style in design, but this is masterpiece how to animate and combine this in video. Song is great, too
I have to learn so much to create something like this… but some day…

Yesterday I played with some words for a Twitter related things and I got this idea/slogan – “124 symbols left”.
